Under 10's
Manager's start of season message:
Welcome back to everybody at the Wasps, especially
the U10's playing in the Eastham League. As you are all aware official
fixtures for this league have yet to commence but I am endeavouring to arrange
as many matches in the interim. Most of our squad have now been with us since
6 years of age and it is nice to see them back for another challenging year.
A special welcome to the two Jacks who have joined us. I hope they will soon
settle in and enjoy being part of the Wasps set up.
This season is very important for us as we need to
continue to develop our football ready for next year when points will be at
stake each match, and trophies will be up for grabs. We continue to play 7/8
a-side at present and anticipate that this season will again be highly
competitive. It is important that we all dig in and try right to the very
end. We all still have a lot to learn, including myself. I am very confident
that with the boys we have at our disposal, if we all work hard, then next
year we will be in a strong position.
Finally, I would like to send our best wishes to
the boys and parents involved with the Wallasey League. I hope you have a
successful season.
