Fixtures and Results for the Orange Squad
The Orange squad enjoyed a fantastic tournament at Mynnyd Isa on Sunday 2nd July . They triumphed to the semi finals only to be beaten in extra time by a dubious penalty ! It was the only goal conceded all day . Edwards S deserves a special mention for once again being brilliant in goal. Goals scorers were Kenton, Stirrup (3), Kitchen (2) and Williams. Well done to everyone !

Sunday 11th September
West kirby Wasps u7's blacks entertained Young Lions from Prenton in this seasons opener. In an exciting match the Wasps always had a little too much quality for the visitors, and took the lead just before the 1st break when Charles drilled home from 10 yards from a pass by Griffiths. The leading margin was extended in the 2nd quarter when netted her second from close range after a superb run and cross from the excellent Dawson, who tormented the Lions defence all game with his speed and trickier. With the team playing so well for the 1st game of the season, it was somewhat of a surprise when the Lions pull a goal back in the 3rd quarter. Although their efforts certainly warranted some reward ! Defenders Pearce and Hughes ensured that an equaliser wasn't forthcoming, and after good approach play by Callaghan and English, Charles completed her hat-trick !!! There was just time for a solo dribble from Wilson, who was unfortunate to see this shot go wide of a post. All in all an excellent start, and a game played with sportsmanship normally associated with cricket !!! Well done everyone !!
